Jasbeer has been working as a lecturer in English at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2018. Prior to joining St. Mary’s Junior College, she had 8 years of teaching experience, as a Lecturer at different Degree and Junior Colleges. Her patience, dedication and hard work reflect her nature. Her hobbies include playing Badminton and listening to music. Presently she is mentor for II year MPC (Regular) students and a member of Cultural Committee.

Dr. Mohd Muslehuddin

Lecturer in Arabic;M.A,M.Phil,Ph.D (OU)

Dr.Mohd Muslehuddin has been working as a lecturer in Arabic at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2018. Prior to joining St. Mary’s Junior College,he has considerable experience of more than 2 decades in Arabic. He had participated in many National and International seminars and  presented articles on different topics that were published in various magazines and an International journals. He was the state champion in kick boxing in 1991 and won the second place in International karate tournament held in Brisbane, Australia in 2000. He is diligent with multifaceted personality.Currently he is a member of Discipline Committee.

Ms. Deepa Nagapurkar

Lecturer in French;

Deepa is an Advanced Diploma holder in French from EFLU, Hyderabad. She is an alumnus of Nizam college, currently pursuing M.A in English through Osmania University. She has a decade of experience in teaching French language at various institutions. She is not only committed in her work but also creative in teaching French language through interesting activities and various modern tools. Presently she heads the Department of Languages.

Ms. Poonam Kaur

Poonam has been working as a lecturer in Mathematics at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2018. Prior to joining St. Mary’s Junior College, she has more than a decade  of teaching experience, as a Lecturer at St.Francis Degree College for Women, Begumpet and JNTU to name a few. Her subject knowledge and patience prove to be her strong points. Creating a new bench mark in the arena of Mathematics has been her forte. Currently she is a co-mentor for I MEC students and a member in Examination Committee.

Ms. G. Shailaja

Lecturer in Physics; M.Sc.(OU), B.Ed.(OU)

Shailaja has been working as a lecturer in Physics at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2018. Prior to joining St. Mary’s Junior College,she has rich experience (17 years) in teaching at various Junior colleges at Mahboobnagar district. She believes in providing latest avenues to students to appreciate physics, while refining their own research. She is honest, ambitious and strives for students’ success. Ms. Shailaja was also a national player (basketball, handball and netball).Currently she is a mentor for I year MPC(IIT-JEE) students.

Ms. Nadiminti Pratyusha

Pratyusha has been a lecturer in Physics at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2016. Prior to joining St. Mary’s Junior College, she had two years of teaching experience, as a Lecturer at SVM Degree & PG College,Gadwal. She is a certified PSB Designer A lecturer who believes in rendering quality work and setting an example to her students. Currently she is co-mentor for I year MPC (Regular) students.

Nadiya has been a lecturer in Chemistry at St.Mary’s Junior college since 2015. Prior to joining St. Mary’s Junior College, she had 5 years of teaching experience, as a Lecturer at Pragathi Junior and Degree College. She is a dedicated professional who is active and ever ready to take up new challenges. She participated in various seminars and conferences. She is highly creative in textile designing. Currently she is the member of examination committee and she is Co-mentor for I year MPC (Regular) students.

Mr. Mohan Maruthi Sena

Lecturer in Chemistry; M.Sc,Ph.D, (IIIT-Hyderabad)

Mohan Maruthi Sena has been a lecturer in Chemistry at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2018. He completed his M.Sc (Organic chemistry) from Osmania University and is a qualified UGC NET-lectureship.He has published a few research articles in International journals with the cumulative impact factor of 14. He has been teaching assistant for five years for various science courses at IIIT-H. He is passionate about teaching and strives to equip the students for various competitive examinations. He is currently the Coordinator for IIT – JEE.

Varalakshmi has been working as a lecturer in Economics at St.Mary’s Junior College since 2018. She is an alumnus of prestigious Nizam College; UGC NET qualified. She has 25 years experience in teaching and 6 years as Administrator. Pragmatic, and workaholic, she always strives to give her best. Disciplinarian and a good counselor .Currently she is the Coordinator for Examination committee.

Returning to the routine of student life after the COVID pandemic was challenging, but my college experience made it much smoother. The teachers were incredibly supportive and ensured we understood everything we were learning. The college organised many fun activities like intramurals, allowing us to showcase our talents and bond with other students. In retrospect, my college experience was truly invaluable. I learned so much during my time there, not just in the classroom but about myself and the world around me. The college environment was one that fostered personal growth and development, and I am much more prepared for the challenges that await me. Shout-out to all the teachers who checked my progress regularly and provided unwavering support. I’m so grateful to the teachers who gave me crucial guidance that I needed for my future.

From the moment I set foot on the campus, I knew that I had made the right decision in choosing St. Mary’s. The two years I spent here helped me not only in my academics but also to be a better person. The faculty members have in-depth knowledge in their respective fields and helped us all to perfect the subject. They treated us like their own children, and the guidance we received from them was precious. The lecturers gave each student personal attention to ensure they were thorough with the concepts. They were always ready to assist me when I had doubts and patiently explained a topic multiple times. Unlike most junior colleges, apart from academics, we also had a lot of extra-curricular activities such as college intramural and competitions. I was given a lot of opportunities to showcase my talents. St. Mary’s considers these extra-curricular activities as important as academics. The faculty pushed all the students to participate and gave them a stage to express themselves and shine.

Since the first few months of college were online due to the pandemic, I was sceptical about making friends. Although once everybody started coming to college, St. Mary’s had a welcoming environment, and it was easy to talk to new people and make friends. I made a lot of life-long friends thanks to St. Mary’s. I could not have asked for a better college experience, and I highly recommend this institution to anyone seeking quality education along with personal growth.
